Sam Rossi, a dynamic drummer and musician, seamlessly fuses jazz, R&B, and hip-hop influences to forge a distinctively expressive and uniquely tasteful sound on the drum kit. Embarking on his musical journey at the tender age of 5, Sam has nurtured an intense passion and unwavering drive for drumming, constantly striving to elevate his performance and creativity. His dedication has cultivated an impressive work ethic, sparking endless creativity and innovation. Over the years, Sam has strategically positioned himself to collaborate, study, and perform with some of the leading instrumentalists of our time, including Jeff Hamilton, Peter Erskine, and Donny McCaslin. While his roots and primary focus lie in jazz, Sam's extensive experience across a broad spectrum of musical genres renders him exceptionally versatile in both live performances and studio recordings. Beyond his own artistic pursuits, Sam is committed to educating the next generation of musicians. He dedicates time to teaching, aiming to ignite a similar passion in his students by creating an engaging, nurturing environment that fosters musical creativity and growth. Currently, Sam is advancing his formal education at the University of Southern California, pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies. This step is part of his lifelong dream to become a leading drummer and musician, continually expanding his artistic horizons and sharing his love for music with the world.
